Clinical Research Solutions is genuinely clinician-led. Our chief executive is a research nurse and our medical director is an NHS GP of 20 years, supported by practising GPs, nurses, and specialists in data, statistics, regulatory affairs and quality.

Liz is the CEO of Clinical Research Solutions, a clinician-led CRO specialising in medical devices, wound care, digital health and real-world evidence studies. With more than 23 years of nursing experience and over a decade leading clinical research management and delivery, she combines deep clinical expertise with a practical understanding of what companies need to achieve successful commercialisation and adoption within healthcare systems.
Having worked across primary care, community and secondary care settings, Liz has partnered with NHS organisations, academic institutions, healthcare innovators and commercial sponsors to generate the evidence needed to support market access, reimbursement and clinical uptake. She is passionate about ensuring innovation translates into meaningful patient benefit, and specialises in designing pragmatic, real-world studies that produce robust evidence while remaining operationally feasible in everyday clinical practice — spanning study design, clinical evaluation, feasibility, patient recruitment, research delivery and evidence generation.
She is particularly known for bridging the gap between industry, clinicians and healthcare providers — working closely with companies to understand not only the regulatory and evidence requirements for their products, but the practical realities of introducing new technologies into healthcare settings. Under her leadership, CRS has built a reputation for flexible, collaborative and cost-effective research that helps organisations accelerate adoption, demonstrate value and improve patient outcomes.
Dr Nganwuchu has eight years of experience in clinical research, spanning preclinical drug design and development through to patient-focused clinical studies. She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Biochemistry, a Master of Science in Drug Toxicology and Safety Pharmacology, and a Doctorate in Life Sciences, with research focused on translational and clinical research.
A Clinical Research and Operations Manager with a proven track record across NHS, academic and CRO environments — where scientific rigour meets operational excellence and patient-centred delivery — she supports MedTech, biotech and pharmaceutical organisations, and academic sponsors, by bridging the gap between innovation and real-world patient impact. She manages country, site and study feasibility, regulatory approvals, site activation and overall study oversight.
